If this is the case, it’s only normal that you’d want your iPad Pro to be well-protected from scratches, falls, or anything else life throws at you. But while there may be a lot of iPad covers out there, I’ve taken a deeper look into one that may be worth considering.

In this Pitaka iPad Pro Case review, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about this product and whether it can effectively do its very important job – protecting your beloved iPad.

Pitaka iPad Pro Case Benefits

When it comes to iPad covers, there are a lot of factors to consider.

But if you use Magic Keyboard, it becomes essential that your iPad cover works seamlessly with it.

Who wants to take off the cover each type they need to type something using the keyboard?

Right, nobody

However, with regular covers, this is exactly what you are forced to do.

Luckily, Pitaka comes to the rescue.

MagEZ Case for iPad Air 2020 and iPad Pro 2018 & 2020, Pitaka’s latest product, is made for Apple users who want nothing but convenience and quality in their hands.

It works seamlessly with Magic Keyboard meaning you don’t need to remove the cover – never ever! Even if you need to type something! It’s just mind-blowing!

In addition, the Pitaka case for iPad Pro is a sturdy, beautiful cover that protects your device from scratches, falls, and dents. If you’re someone with an active lifestyle, the Pitaka iPad Pro Case will ensure that your iPad will remain pristine and safe inside. It wraps around your iPad Pro, protecting both the device’s back and sides.

It’s also ideal for child-proofing your device. The Pitaka cover will not completely eliminate damage to your iPad, but it greatly protects it against minor accidents, especially those caused by a rambunctious child.

Lastly, it’s a great accessory to bring when you’re traveling. Traveling exposes your iPad to all sorts of environments and potentially harmful elements. Having the Pitaka case for iPad Pro is a reliable and convenient way of reducing the risk of damages to your expensive device.

In short, the case allows you to use your Magic Keyboard without removing it and keeps your mind free from worrying about the safety of your device, whether you’re at home or outside.

Pitaka iPad Pro Case Review

Now that we’ve come this far, let’s get into the actual details of what makes the Pitaka case for iPad Pro a worthy consideration in my eyes.

Pitaka iPad case

Specifications

This case comes in sizes compatible with iPad Air 2020 (10.9 inches), iPad Pro 2018 (11 inches), and iPad Pro 2020 (12.9 inches), and even comes with a 2-month warranty from the manufacturer.

It weighs roughly 3 oz to 4.4 oz and fits perfectly with zero dead space, providing a hugging, lightweight, and slim design.

The best and the most important feature is that the case is fully compatible with the iPad Magic Keyboard

The case is fully compatible with the iPad Magic Keyboard

The magic keyboard offers a front cover, added usefulness of the keyboard, and a stand. In turn, the Pitaka case provides added protection to the sides, the camera edge, and the back. It even has a clip that doubles as a card and an Apple pencil holder. Nifty!

Features

The Pitaka iPad Case is made of heat-resistant, synthetic, durable aramid fiber – the same material that manufacturers use for certain military and aerospace-grade body armor. Just from this alone, you know that it’s sturdy and can withstand practically anything, within reason.

The cover has a contemporary-looking, zig-zag “twill” design that comes in a subdued black-gray or black-blue. It has precise, easy access cut to all of its ports, buttons, and switches, with a type C port for fast-charging cables.

No matter what model or design you choose, the Pitaka iPad case is sure to give off an atmosphere of elegance and modernity.

It also offers Pitaka’s very own MagEZ technology, which means it can securely connect to the iPad and even to the Magic Keyboard, thanks to high-quality, super-stick magnets. As a result, you never have to deal with clunky hinges and attachments with this cover, making it slim and lightweight while still maintaining a strong grip on your device.

Build Quality

When it comes to build quality, I found Pitaka’s case to hold up pretty well. As mentioned above, it’s sturdy and tight, but it doesn’t at all interfere with charging and signal connectivity, allowing you to go on with work or fun as usual and with little hassle.

However, if you’re installing and removing the cover for the first time, make sure to carefully read and follow all the instructions, as you might damage the product if you don’t understand how it works.

You can find the instructions right in the case box.

Installation and Removal Guide

What We Liked

  • Compatibility with Magic Keyboard. This is the best feature, hands down!
  • Slick look. The product design is very contemporary and stylish, giving a subtle, modern elegance.
  • Top-notch build quality. Its top-of-the-line aramid fiber material and cutting-edge construction allow the case to be strong and durable. It’s practically impossible to scratch.
  • Light as air. This is such a thin case that it barely weighs anything.
  • Soft but secure grip. High-quality fibers woven together create a comfortable hold that doesn’t compromise on the grip.
  • Compatibility is a breeze. Smoothly pairs with Apple pencil, Magic Keyboard, and even the Pitaka Omni Air charger.

What We Didn’t Like

  • Somewhat pricey. Compared to other similar offerings on the market, the Pitaka case is more expensive.
  • Not completely necessary. If your iPad doesn’t ever leave your table, let alone your house, then the protection offered by the Pitaka case may be somewhat over-the-top.

Final Thoughts On Pitaka’s iPad Pro Case

If you’re looking for something more than just a pretty cover, or something more than just strong protection, then the Pitaka case for iPad Pro is the seamless blend of both

It works with Magic Keyboard and possesses aesthetics and functionality, elegance and strength. If you’re someone that values all of these things, this case is worth considering indeed.
