Methods To Find IMEI Number Without Phone
No matter which device you were operating, whether it’s Android or iPhone you can find it for both of them in case you don’t have the device with yourself. For Android, we will be using Find my device by Google. And for the iPhone, it will be done using the Apple account.
Before starting, remember you can find the details of IMEI of your lost device using the Google account that you were using on the smartphone.
1. Open any web browser on your PC and then visit Google Android Manager.
2. Here log in using the credentials of the same Google account you’re using in your phone.
3. After logging in successfully, you will be able to see all the devices that are connected with this Google account and locate the device using Find My Device. To get the IMEI number from here, just click on the information icon right in front of the smartphone name.
4. Then a small tab will appear where you will see the Device Information where the IMEI number is mentioned. In addition, you will see the date when the device was registered and the last time the device was operated.
Apart from this, you can use Google Find My Device to track the device, get its location, lock the device or erase all the data from it.
Same is for iPhone, you will need the Apple ID credentials used in the desired iOS device.
1. Head over to Apple website on any browser and then log in using the Apple ID for the desired device.
2. After you are logged in, scroll down to the Device section and there you will see all the devices registered with your Apple account.
3. Select the device and it will provide you with its information which includes IMEI.

Risk Of Sharing IMEI?
Though IMEI number seems to be useful. But there can be cases where any third person can take the advantage if they know your devices IMEI. They can create IMEI clones for any other device, lock your smartphone completely, or even steal your data if they also get the hold of your SIM number.
