Snapchat is one app which is hard to beat when it comes to filters. In this article, we share their weather filter. It can be used to add temperature in degrees or Fahrenheit to your photos or videos. If this doesn’t sound useful then it also allows adding the weather forecast for 3 days or 5 hours to your snaps. So, if you want to let others know about weather conditions near you then here’s how to add temperature or weather forecast filter on Snapchat from Android or iPhone.
How to Get Weather Filter on Snapchat?
The procedure is similar for both Android and iOS. For this tutorial, we have used iPhone.
- The prerequisite is to have location services enabled on your smartphone.
- After turning on GPS, open Snapchat. Make sure Snapchat app has permission to access location.
Note: Turning on location services and allowing Snapchat to access it is a key for weather filters to work. If it’s not working even after enabling GPS then quit Snapchat and open it again while GPS is turned on.
- Record a video, capture a photo or upload a snap from Camera Roll or Gallery as you would normally do.
- Now, start swiping left or right on the snap until you see a temperature in Fahrenheit.
Yeah, it is that easy to get temperature filter to show up on your snaps.
