Find Instagram User ID
We have mentioned two ways for it – an online tool and manual(for geeks).
Method 1: Online Tool
You can use this method if you are not interested in the details and just want to see the user id.
1. Get the username of the person whose user id you want to find. You can find it easily on Instagram app or website.
2. Now head over to Instagram User Id Finder – Web tool. Type or paste the username into the text box that says -“Enter Instagram Username” and click or tap on Get User Id.
3. The tool will fetch the user id and show it to you in just a moment. Click on Copy User ID or you can do it manually if desired.
The utility works for all the accounts – public & private and no login is required.

Method 2: Manual
In case you want to get into the details then this method is for you. A bit lengthy when compared to the one above.

1. Open Instagram website and go the profile of the desired person. When you are on any profile page the URL in the address bar will look something like – https://www.instagram.com/Username/.
In my case, it is – https://www.instagram.com/mendiratta20/
2. Now, append ?__a=1 at the end of the URL. So, the URL will become –
https://www.instagram.com/mendiratta20/?__a=1
Hit Enter.
3. You will see a lot of data on the page which loads. Use Ctrl+F and search for profilePage_. The numbers next to it are nothing but the user id of that person.
Again, there is no login required and works for all the Instagram accounts.
