Siri suggests apps on the top just below the spotlight search bar. The apps suggested are based on your usage and you will see the four most used apps on your iOS device here. To see the top 8 most used apps tap on Show More at the top right corner.
Below the suggested apps, all the keywords based on your search and history will appear.

Turn Off Siri Suggestions in Spotlight Search on iPhone/iPad
1. Open Settings app and select General.
2. Under General, tap on Spotlight Search.
3. In Spotlight Search settings, toggle Siri Suggestions to OFF.
These few taps will remove apps from Siri suggestions along with the keywords search history. Perform Spotlight search and you will no longer see the apps and the keywords.
You can always turn on Siri Suggestions any time if desired. In order to do so go to the same settings and switching Siri suggestions to ON.
