Instagram has been giving a lot of impetus on live videos in the past six months or so. Earlier this year, they made it possible to share live videos to stories section so that users that miss them in real-time can view it later. This was definitely a good move to make more people go live. Following this up, they also added the possibility to go live with a friend and even allowed users to request to be in someone’s live video. Now, in a recent update, they have introduced DM option for live videos. This means that you can send Instagram live videos as direct messages to your friends or followers privately.
Your live video might be missed by the friends because they may have disabled live video notifications or Instagram failed to alert them about your live video. To prevent that from happening the latest feature allows you to share your live videos in DM’s privately with desired friends. Here’s how.
