In this tutorial, you will learn about how to generate random and secure passwords in Chrome browser. I will be sharing two methods one without using any Google Chrome extensions or plugin and another method will make use of a Chrome App to generate strong passwords for multiple accounts.
Recently, I had to create a lot of online accounts for running, managing, and monetizing blogs. These include social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, MailChimp for email subscription, multiple affiliate accounts, SEMRUSH for keyword research, multiple email accounts, WordPress admin credentials, PayPal and the list is endless.
Now the issue is I cannot have the same password for all of the accounts. At the same time, all the passwords have to be secure and strong enough to not get hacked easily.
I definitely had to find a solution for this and finally, I did to put an end to the misery. I thought it is worth sharing this with our audience at TechUntold who can also benefit from it if you use Chrome browser and come across such a situation.
I already use one of powerful Siri features of generating Wolfram password to generate strong and random passwords on my iPhone. However, while working on PC on Chrome browser it’s more convenient and faster to have something like that on my computer rather than on a smartphone. So, let’s get started.

2. Search for Strong Password Generator or click on the following link – Strong Password Generator Chrome Extension.
3. Click on Add to Chrome followed by Add Extension.
And you’re done. A lock icon will be added to Chrome Browser on top.
Whenever you require a password click on it. The good thing about this extension is that you can choose password depending on your preference like Upper Case, Lower Case, Special Characters and numbers. Once you are done, click on Generate and password according to the given preference will be generated.
